Okay, so I didn’t actually pick up the newspaper this weekend, but isn’t this image pretty?

Hi! How was your weekend?  It was relaxing for us! I should be taking down the Christmas decorations but instead I found and read/viewed all of this:

Diego, Santi and I read and re-read two new bilingual picture books: Marisol McDonald Doesn’t Match / Marisol McDonald no combina and The Cazuela That the Farm Maiden Stirred Thank you to one of my regular readers and childhood friend, Liz A for this gift!

To help you with your 2013 workouts:  a list of music!

Found two book reviews that left me intrigued. Put them on your nightstand: The Feminist and the Cowboy: An Unlikely Love Story (Alisa Valdes Rodriguez!!) and Pursuing the Good Life: 100 Reflections on Positive Psychology

Great idea for a special birthday!

Learned about the World’s Best Father twice this weekend!

First viral FB photo of 2013: Awwww!

Cute commercial. I would buy the Fiat because of this. “Joined a book club just so I can drink some wine.” jajaja!

Hipster move to quit Facebook?

And a very serious piece that makes you think about gun control, forgiveness, our justice system, love…and so much more.

Please enjoy and let me know what you think of these!

Have a great week!

Thanks for sharing. The NYTimes piece was indeed a very serious piece. Also loved the 60th bday idea. My mother in law will be 60 in two years and I love to plan ahead.

Don’t worry about the tree; we just barely got ours out of the house yesterday 😉 Weekend was great and mostly relaxing.

Thanks for sharing the links! I gotta check some of those out.
