A few posts ago, I wrote about the World Cup and why we root for three countries. Last week, we were so bummed when Japan did not advance out of the group stage. Yesterday, we were heartbroken after feeling and believing that Mexico would advance to the quarterfinals, only to lose it all with minutes left in the match. Diego and I shed a few tears. He was so upset; we all were. We still have the USA team left to cheer on and we hope and dream of a victory on Tuesday. The past two weeks have been so much fun, yet super stressful! Ha!
Lucky for us, we were able to unwind at the shore this weekend. After the Mexico game yesterday, we walked out to the sun and forgot our heartbreak for a few hours, enjoyed each other and said goodbye to another exciting and fantastic weekend.
Here are your weekend links! Enjoy!
