Hi there! This is my 100th post on My Friend Betty Says…! I consider this a personal achievement as I told myself six months ago that I was really going to sit down and do this. I have enjoyed the process and the practice. I have been reading a lot more and have been very mindful of the literature my children are reading as well. Overall, I am just so glad to make a little contribution to other parents, to other teachers and to bring a little smile and inspiration to everyone else.
My first full month (March 1-31) as an official blogger (hee hee) I had 348 visits. I’m sure this was a handful of friends in Illinois checking in to my persistent and private emails to read my latest post. Last month, I had 950 visits and I hope to break over a thousand this month! So exciting. I am also now on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter sharing my work and letting distant acquaintances and even strangers know what Betty has to say. Although I still cringe once in a while when I press that “publish” button on my dashboard on WordPress, it is always rewarding. But, “Eek! Will anyone read this?
