    Hola Betty,
I’m enjoying your blog a great deal, your boys are adorable and your blog is informative and fun to read. What did you think of Bilingual is Better? I’m eager to read it, in the meanwhile, any little morsels you can share about the book?

      Hi Maria!
Thanks for stopping by and for commenting! You have to get Bilingual is Better! I will post my thoughts on it as early as next week. Please come back to read my post on the book. I will tell you this: the book encouraged me even more to keep Spanish alive in our home. It’s hard but it has to be worth it, no? Thank you for your kind words!

        Hi Betty,

Can’t wait to read your review, I am placing the order for the book after this post. You’re right, it is very challenging to keep Spanish alive in our homes, SO much easier to go with the flow of everything English. But, I do think it is worth it. It really is a shame that our future generations of Latinos won’t know how to speak their language, unless we make the effort to keep Spanish alive in our homes. We must make an effort to keep Spanish relevant and part of our kids’ everyday lives. Thanks for getting back to me.
