Hi! Did you have a good weekend? We had FIVE parties on the calendar for Saturday and Sunday! All involved kids except for one that was sadly rescheduled. Because our sitter was coming anyway, Jose and I had a chance to go out for dinner–alone! Rare, these days!
We really have to be grateful for the littlest things that make us happy. I was so sorry to hear what happened in the midwest. Tornadoes hit my home state of Illinois and there is total devastation for a lot of families. It really saddens me to hear of disasters, but especially so close to the holidays.
This weekend we also tried to do our holiday pictures ourselves. I was frustrated that nothing turned out. I wanted to get started on my Christmas cards! All of that is so trivial compared to what people have to go through in the next few days and months.
Even though I work closely with my friend, Mallika from mikifoto, I want to continue the tradition of taking my own holiday pictures. It’s tough! I might have to call her for help if this doesn’t work out. jajaja!
Here are 16 Dos and Don’ts for great holiday photos to start of the weekend links.
