This is Olivia! She is my precious goddaughter and she turned 2 in March! Tiz (one of my BFFs) sent me these pictures to share with you. How I wish I was closer to celebrate with Tiz, Olivia and their family and friends. Tiz, as my guest blogger, included her party tips inpired by the book character Oliva. Enjoy! (By the way, Olivia is fashionably wearing a top from TJ Maxx, a skirt from Old Navy and Converse shoes from Nordstrom).
We decided to go with the Olivia theme birthday party for obvious reasons: Our baby girl’s name is Olivia and we love the books! For the main wall decoration, I made this banner inspired by many over at Etsy.
I also made the runners. The fabric is from Joann’s. All the food was white, black and red, just like the pages of the picture books. I bought the colored M and M’s from Candyality on Southport in Chicago. The paper items are from Party City.
The cupcake toppers are from Etsy and I made the red velvet cupcakes!
We put several picture frames around the house with Olivia “Rule of Life”.
Even though the planning that comes with a themed party can be stressful and hectic, in the end it’s all worth it. We now have these great pictures to remember such a wonderful day. I look forward to each special birthday so that more memories can be made. Thanks for sharing Betty! Lots of love from us all!
