No More Soccer Mom Shoe Woes

July 16, 2013

Isn’t this great???

A reminder of how much I love shoes. And how much I miss wearing heels. Sigh.

Except for the occasional date-night outing, these super heels are shelved right now. I’m chasing 3 very active boys around all day and their number one choice of play is soccer. So I rely heavily on my running sneakers and indoor chanclitasfor now.  I’m ready for a fine balance…I’m not ignoring my high heels anymore!

I’m dreaming of new shoes for my birthday next month (honey, are you reading this?) and I did just purchase a few pairs while out shopping with my mom. A girl can dream up New York City nights in sweet Manolos a la very Carrie Bradshaw. Nevertheless, I’ll wear my t-stap flats on the pitch, and now that everyone is walking around here, I’m collecting more of these killer heels for everything else.

My current obsessions: navy espadrille wedges, pink ankle-strap kitten heels, and hot black-studded sandals.

Follow me on Instagram! I see a few shoe photographs in my future. 😉

Why are heels so magical? Which style is your favorite?

Too cute,I love wedges, and those blue are so cool, I look for confort they must feel right walking around the store for at list a minute if they don’t last the test no matter how beautiful shoes are I won’t buy them, and that’s the reason why I have a very small shoe collection specially high heals, hight heals are magical for me because in two seconds I appear to look much taller, and sexier. Unfortunately I can’t wear them often regardless of how comfortable they are I still end up sore the next day from the bottom of my feet. Anyways I just bought myself a new pair of heals that I can’t wait to wear they are so far the highest of all my shoes I think about 8 inches oh hoo!! Ill be closer to the sky.

I tend to wear high heels instead of the low ones (whenever I *can* wear them lol). I’m going back to work soon and even though I didn’t really wear heels all the time, I think being on maternity leave and wearing flip flops every day is making me actually want to wear my high heels again!

I think heels are one of the ultimate symbols of femininity. Whether the heel is a kitten or a stiletto, the shoe scream woman. Loved this one 🙂

You are right Malinda. And even though they might not be so comfy all the time, that feeling you get when you slip them on…so worth it! ja! xoxo

I feel you my friend. I’ve been feeling the same way lately. My little one is becoming so independent now that I finally feel like I can start dolling myself up again and I’m loving it! Too bad we can’t all put on our favorite dresses and heels and have a girls night out.
