New York City Inspired Parties

June 6, 2013

I’m already thinking about the next party! Let’s skip my birthday (I only want shoes!) and go straight to the next kid party! Santi is up in November and he’ll be 3! He is the only one born in New York City and for that and a few other great reasons, the city will always be huge in our hearts. We have fantastic memories of living there and of course, Jose commutes to it every single day. NYC is part of our lives. Here are some amazing ideas I found. Take a look please…

Nice, huh? What do you think? Should I go with the NYC Subway theme or the taxi theme? I know Santi will love either one!

P.s. Santi’s first birthday party and second party.

Very cute and original!!! I love it! No matter what we decide to do for them, they will love it. I’m big on having the parties at the house, but once in a while, look forward to parties that can be held elsewhere! Daniela will be 5 at the end of July. Thanks to another mom I found a great place for little girls called Drama Queens where they play dress-up for 2 hrs and call it a day! It’s her favorite thing to do! Loved it, so I booked it! the goody bags stress me out! I found some really cute pink purses so I got those, (no boys) but now.. what do I put in them???

      HI Bertha!
Sounds like fun!! I imagine the purses are not super big? I would do chap sticks with a tint or lip gloss geared to her age and then I’ll tell you to see if you can find ring pops (!), candy necklaces and bracelets, stickers, a small note pad and pen?

Come on MFBS readers!! What else do you suggest for Bertha’s goody purses?

Awesome idea!! Looks so cute! Bertha, I was also going to suggest chap sticks. Nail polish and travel size lotion/hand sanitizers are a good idea too! Bath & Body has them. I just took Aleiyah there and she picked out some hand sanitizers. I’ll send you a pic incase if your interested!
