So this is happening right now: Freezing temperatures in the high 20s and SNOW coming this evening in Jersey. It’s the end of March! Although a lot of fashion posts are desperately yearning for spring, it’s just not happening for a lot of us.
For today’s post, I thought it would be perfect to show you how to mix a little of the old and a little of the new. Growing up, my mom would always tell me not to mix new clothes with old pieces. It totally makes sense. However, as we know now, there should be no strict rules for fashion. I wanted to wear this top that I bought for sunny San Francisco, and I came back noticing I still needed a jacket for the gloomy east coast and threw on my trusty dark jeans. I had a hunch I would still be using some dark colors for a few weeks so I bought this eyelet scarf in black. Layering is still essential around here.
I wore my bright yellow bracelet to send a message to the universe… 😉
Are you mixing the old with the new too? Still layering? Let us know!
