Hi there! Halloween is just around the corner! I decided to keep the decorations simple, silly and bright this year. I don’t like to be spooked and I have three boys under the age of five, so everything is very kid-friendly yet fun for me. I only made 3 stops for my decorations and everything was super cheap. I went to Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond and my local supermarket. Take a look!

The vase I have had for years, it sits on the dining room table and I fill it with different things depending on the season. Remember the Easter table? I bought these Halloween ornaments at Target and had Diego cut off the hanging strings. The glittery purple and orange pumpkins are from Kings Supermarket.

The place mats are so cute and only $1.99 each from Bed, Bath and Beyond! I was super excited to find the spider web runner at Target. Perfect match. Diego and Santi ended up doing their own window decorations for their “study”. Target had these make-your-own little craft projects. Love them!

I adore all things sparkly and shiny! These pumpkins for my living room coffee table are also from Target.

Glass pumpkin for candy: Target! I try to always have fresh flowers when having people over or for any holiday. They are not very expensive and they are new to you even if it is only for a few days…

Simple but bright! It’s important to take a look around the room and incorporate what you already have. It keeps the cost down and you don’t have to put away many things. I love that Buddha always joins in on the fun.
What are you doing to get ready for Halloween? Gosh, I know people who carve pumpkins like pros, make their children’s costumes and cook up some mad butternut squash soup! I WISH I was that talented! Next for me…Dia de Los Muertos! Stay tuned!

Betty

I love decorating for Halloween. I too keep it cute and simple. Easy to store and use again next year.
Wow, you are on it, Betty! I actually don’t decorate for Halloween lol. I’m so lazy I still need to find my kiddo’s costume. But I love your decor; very tastefully done

Love it! Esp the extra sparkle. I love Kohl’s and Dollar Tree for some fun, inexepensive decorations. I also found some great purple lights for $2.50 at Home Depot. Thanks for the extra ideas!
Looks great!! Can’t wait to make a trip to visit you one of these days. I am decorating this weekend! Decorating makes me happy and excited too!!
Thanks Ladies! I added a few more things this weekend! I’ll post when I do my Halloween night pictures! xoxo

Love your decor. I’ve been so busy this month I didn’t do much decorating, but budget friendly ideas are great. This year I put white garbage bags on our little trees in front and painted ghost faces on them. I will have to check out target more often for decorating.
