Lashes for days!

DSC_1441I was a guest of the Lash House and was provided with this service for review. However, all opinions and statements are my own.

A couple of posts ago, you got to see me with no makeup on! I really wasn’t shy because 1) I really believe I don’t wear too much makeup and 2) my fabulous new lashes make me look done up all the time now! Thanks to Suzette at the Lash House Beauty Boutique in Livingston, NJ, I recently had a teaser set of eyelash extensions applied.

I have had temporary lashes applied for my wedding and other special occasions but after the events, I would go home to remove my makeup and the lashes would come off as well. I had heard  of the benefits from women who have had  more of a permanent treatment done and everyone raved about it. For me, as a busy mom who applies mascara every single day, I thought this would be a gorgeous time saver. Willing to give this beauty enhancement a go, as soon as I walked in to the Lash House, I knew I was in for an extra special treat.

The Lash House is an intimate and gorgeous spa. They provide makeup applications, facials, wax treatments and more. I was told that the Lash House Beauty Boutique’s lash extension session would be relaxing and luxurious.

Relaxing and luxurious…to say the least! I was immediately asked to lay down on the super comfortable heated bed. I set out to seriously unwind for the next hour and a half.

This is my before eyelash extensions picture. Suzette went to work on my lashes one by one.

Here are my results–long and thick lashes! The procedure was painless and comfortable. I was able to tell instantly that my lashes wouldn’t need a coat of mascara for a long time.

Eyelash extensions will provide you with longer, thicker, luscious looking lashes. They are synthetic strands of eyelashes that are applied one by one directly to your natural eyelash. Each lash is thicker at the base and taper at the tip, designed to look like a natural lash.

I’m set for the next 6-8 weeks and if you take another look at my “without makeup look” you will see that it is much faster to get me out of the house in the mornings. My lashes brighten up my eyes without the need for makeup. I’m ready to go out the door faster than ever!

Suzette at the Lash House Beauty Boutique is an artist and an expert. She is a mother of two little children who definitely understands moms who need to look and feel their best.

Have you ever had eyelash extensions applied? What did you think?

    Hi Betty,

Wow! That place looks really relaxing! Thanks for sharing your experience. I don’t really go to spas at all, but it’s just because it is something that I never really think of. I really loved their wallpaper choices. I’m glad you had such a great experience and you look fab! 🙂

    All the best,

Thats a beautiful spa. The interiors are so relaxing and elegant and you look so happy with your new eyelashes. I have never had eyelash extensions applied, but I’m curious and it’s in my list of things to do one of these days, just to see if I like it.
