Hello! I hope you had a great weekend. I have to tell you that it’s been really hard to write lately. The thing with blogs and being so open can be really difficult when people around the writer are going through really difficult times. From the very beginning I have stated that this space is dedicated to only positive messages, but when tragedy strikes, I always have the very best intentions when writing briefly about the situation. It wouldn’t be real otherwise– to have an online journal and only write about the good things in our lives.
Life is life and sometimes bad things happen. I believe you already know that I give every bit of privacy to the people I love, and I appreciate your patience and concern when I have to remain a little more quiet than usual. My hubby and kids are fantastic and we are just trying to be present for our extended family.
My family knows that My Friend Betty Says is a huge part of my life, that I have to meet deadlines and continue my work as business as usual, for that, I am forever grateful.
