So much for waiting for the boys to be able to run out together to drop off little “BOO” bags to their neighborhood friends! Diego insisted we take on the tradition of “ghosting” his friends so on Saturday night because, “we CAN’T have ghosts in the attic!!!!!” guess who was up making little treat bags for his buddies? AND not everything I do I think, “I’ll blog this”. Therefore, I don’t have pictures of the inside of the bags (darn! I really wish you could see those whoopie cushions) but I can show you that I found these cute little things with the pictures of my boys already on them!!!

We picked out Halloween pencils and erasers, sticky spiders, colorful stickers, tattoos and lots of candy. I found this poem on Pinterest and also included it in the bags.

Diego had so much fun running to the houses, leaving the bags, ringing the doorbells, and running back to the car super fast. I think jumping into the back of our SUV was the best part for him! Santi and Jordi were probably wondering what the commotion was all about, as it was quite difficult for them to see over head rests from their car seats. Jose and I? We had a chance to be kids again. Brought us back to our “toilet papering” days in high school. Remember that? All healthy fun.

Are you all ready for Halloween? Did you do anything spooky this weekend? Would love to hear!
Your friend,
Betty

I never heard of this, cute idea. Do you just leave it on Random neighbor’s houses?
Hi Liz! Thanks for the comments! You have to leave at your friend’s home. Diego doesn’t go to the local school but he knows some of our neighbors cause of sports/the rec. We also did preschool buddies that live nearby and he still sees and we did new friends from school that don’t live too far. Do it next year. I bet Adrian can do it for his cousins too

Adorable Diego!!! Well I’m getting pretty nervous, I have been hosting Halloween at my house for the last three years first years with pizza, and last year with tamales and a nice hot ponche with some tequila, this year ill be doing the same plus some champurado, some of my friends and family are coming with their kids while they be trick or treating ill be home giving out the candy. The girls picked their own custom and Frank to pick the baby’s, I’m actually pretty excited to be making a mess but nervous because I hope my tamales will be tasty.
