Jordi is 4! My baby! My youngest! A huge milestone for sure. The last time we traveled, we didn’t need a stroller or diapers but turning 4 just feels so real. He’s not a baby anymore. He walks everywhere when we go to NYC and his brothers know who is in charge! I’m so glad he was happy with all the birthday plans.
I truly enjoyed planning this Knight in Shining Armour birthday party theme. I found lots of inspiration on Pinterest (of course!). The castle cake idea came directly from a submission to Kara’s Party Ideas. Splurge Bakery in Millburn, NJ was not only able to create their own version but guarantee it would be super delicious! Splurge also created the adorable cookies that we placed inside custom favor bags for our guests to enjoy at home.
I ordered the cute Knight paper products from Birthday Direct and the Knight Party Mugs from Oriental Trading. If you are looking for a cute knight theme for a young child this is the way to go. There are tons of “medieval” theme options out there but I thought they would be a better fit for older kids or adults.
Finally, the favor bags! These came from Shindigz! They print it up for you, and the bags are super easy to assemble. The price? $9 for 36! I was only going to put the chocolate coins in there but the bags were a little big so I added the cookie as well.
