It was Bestie Night at Bottle and Bottega in Berkeley Heights last Friday! My girls and I have never attended one of these sip and paint parties so we decied to give it a whirl. We are so glad we did! When I walked in my group was already nibbling on snacks we organized and our wine was quickly put on ice. The studio is so spacious, yet the atmosphere felt intimate as we chatted in our little private section. We quickly caught up with each other’s recent happenings while we waited for the painting to begin.
My friends and I just wanted something different to do for “girls night out” and we could tell two other groups were celebrating birthdays. There was even a Naughty Night (paint a live nude model!) bachelorette party going on in another rooom! We should have peaked!! What a great idea to have a wine art party for any special occassion. Oh, and can we talk about how beautiful the studio is? We were so inspired and ready to create a gorgeous masterpiece to take home.
We took our cocktail party over to our group table and everything was set up and ready for us to start. There was a designated artist to guide us step by step. I didn’t know what to expect and couldn’t even imagine how we would get started, but our teacher Veronica was so patient, super sweet and talented. Her assistant Jane went around the room helping us with our paintings and making sure we always had wine in our glasses! It helped us relax and we swear the wine uncorked the artists in us!
Bottle and Bottega is great for any get-together. All you have to do is organize your group, decide on a date, and BYOB and snacks! Visit the Events Calendar to pick an event date (the image featured is the one they will be teaching that day), read the event details for alcohol inclusions, then register online. Thank you Bottle and Bottega for hosting us and for creating memories for so many guests. We’ll be back!
